THE FUND DRIVE
Why the Fund Drive ?
Since we NEVER charge for our services, the Annual Fund Drive mailing requesting town residents to donate money helps us raise money to operate.
Why should you donate ?
The volunteers working in the squad put in countless hours (see more on Call Statistics page) and respond to calls at all hours of day and night, in the middle of dinner or in the middle of a family gathering. By doing so we are keeping the cost of service low enough as compared to, say, EMS service like New York City that will send our taxes sky high. You can either donate and get a deduction or pay much more either in taxes or to a paid service that will charge a minimum of 300-400 dollars for each call they handle.
How can I donate ?
Each year around May/June you should be getting a Fund Drive mailing. Please use the form inside and mail in your donation as soon as you can and save us the postage of mailing a reminder. If you do not get your Fund Drive letter please let us know by sending us an email right now at, funddrive at montvillefas.org. We will make necessary corrections.
People also donate money to us by leaving us bequests in their will.
